Michael Fergusson
While the path has been unconventional, it has taken me to some amazing places: from the hills of Mandeville, Jamaica, where I was born, to the back of a tour bus, and then three decades in the technology and healthcare sectors.
Founding five companies, leading them through multiple financing rounds, and steering three to successful exits has taught me many valuable (and occasionally painful, but nearly always interesting) lessons. This project is my attempt to share these lessons, and continue the work of building a next generation of innovative startups.
An interesting fact about me: I received a national culture medal for poetry, and was a Grand Champion at the Western Canada Martial Arts Championship...
so I guess you could say that I'm a lover and a fighter.
